Unfortunately, the outdated room decor left much to be desired and sparse dining options did not meet expectations for a four-star experience.

I recently enjoyed my stay at the Majestic Palace and felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. The spacious room had a lovely balcony view of the gardens, perfect for morning coffee. The hotel's charm is undeniable, and I loved the antique decor around the property. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making me feel at home. The breakfast buffet was decent, though I wish there was more variety beyond the basics. The pool area was clean and relaxing, though I noticed that fewer sunbeds were available than expected, especially on busy days. One downside was the noise level in my room, as I could hear guests in neighboring rooms at times. Access to transportation around the area was easy, and I appreciated the quiet location being a bit removed from the busier parts of Sorrento. I found a fantastic wine bar nearby that offered local wines, which was a nice surprise. The Michelin-star restaurant on-site was a highlight—I had a delicious dinner there.

The room was decent size but felt a bit outdated. Limited electric sockets made charging devices a hassle. Our reading lights didn’t work, and housekeeping overlooked a couple of basic upkeep things. The furniture was good quality but could use a refresh. The beds were comfy enough, though. Overall, it was okay—but could definitely improve in a few areas.

The stunning rooftop views and spacious, clean accommodations were highlights of the stay. The pool area was enjoyable, especially thanks to the helpful attendant. However, the limited number of available sun loungers due to towel reserving made it difficult to relax by the pool, and the breakfast options felt too basic. Although located a bit far from the center, the ambiance and friendliness of the staff made up for it.

The rooftop terrace was stunning, the breakfast spread was varied and relaxing, and our room felt spacious despite needing updates. I would definitely stay here again, especially for the view.

The bar prices are outright ridiculous!!! Plus, it would be nice to have better information on public transport for guests unfamiliar with the area.
